Big School Birdwatch with BBC Midlands Today!

This week, we carried out The RSPB Big School Birdwatch at school, as part of our Wild Learning. Our events included Bird watching in the school grounds, practising bird ID using my live cameras in assembly and in class, making bird feeders and undertaking some UK Bird art, to create a Bird Montage! We also have a competition running, with great prizes. All of these activities aim to help pupils engage, enjoy and learn about the wonderful wildlife right outside their doors!

We had a fantastic morning filming with Beccy Wood & her cameraman Joe from Midlands Today for a short piece that went out on Wednesday evening. The pupils (and staff!) really enjoyed the experience and were all very excited about seeing themselves on TV!

Thank you to Midlands Today for letting us have a copy of the piece they ran on Wednesday….
